SAVE AVELING AND PORTER
In yet another act of cultural vandalism, Medway Council intends to pull down the Aveling & Porter building in Strood. It's time the council checked its code of conduct again as its members seem to have forgotten that they have a duty to "act in accordance with the trust that the public is entitled to place in them." We entrust the council with the heritage of our towns and do not expect them to pull it down to make a quick buck. Have a gander at the Private Eye website for their take on this destruction.

And when the conspiracy theories run out (as if that'll ever happen), Ban The Mind Reader will make some up. It is cheeky and funny, so much so, that if I had bollocks, I would've laughed them right off. So if you want to know about Billy Childish's time-travelling antics or the real reasons for the implementation of the smoking ban, you know where to go.
